In the heart of Sonoma lies a vineyard that is known for some exceptional wines. Boasting 50 acres of grape vines, Richardson Vineyards was founded in 1980. The winery is co-owned by Dennis Richardson, Al Wighton, Robert Weisheit and Victor McWilliams. In the first year of business, this small winery boasted over 1,000 gallons of wines. While the wine is created in a small building outside of Richardson’s home, their wines can rival that of the larger vineyards. While no wine tastings are offered, they offer a great selection of Pinot Nior, Zinfandel and more.
